The Malossi MHR 50cc aluminum cylinder kit is a high-quality and high-performance product, ideal for competition enthusiasts.
The cylinder is made with a special alloy of aluminum with a high percentage of silicon and titanium, which guarantees an unyielding resistance to high temperatures.
Thanks to the special heat treatment of quenching and stabilization, the material maintains constant mechanical and dimensional characteristics up to temperatures of 250°C.
The machining operations are performed with precision on CNC machines, ensuring very tight dimensional and shape tolerances.
The internal surface of the cylinder is coated with silicon carbides on a nickel matrix, heat-treated to achieve extremely high hardness and remarkable wear resistance.
The internal machining of the cylinder is performed with special machines that allow for an impeccable finish on the sliding walls.
The exhaust and transfer diagrams have been specifically designed and developed for competition, with significant commitment from Malossi technicians.
The piston is made with a special alloy with a very high percentage of silicon, ensuring heat resistance and resistance to temperature variations.
The external tin coating ensures a very low friction coefficient.
The piston structure is reinforced to withstand the stresses of a competition cylinder kit, but at the same time, it is lightweight to reduce inertia forces.
The piston ring is made of spheroidal cast iron with a hard chrome coating on the outer surface.

The machining of the cylinder head is performed on CNC machines.
