The Malossi Ø 75.5 aluminum cylinder is a high-quality product designed for 4-stroke mopeds. This cylinder offers numerous advantageous features that make it an excellent choice for engine enthusiasts.
The cylinder has a bore of Ø 75.5 mm and a stroke of 48.6 mm, giving it a displacement of 218 cc. With a compression ratio of 12.5:1, this cylinder ensures powerful and reliable performance.
Made with a primary alloy of silicon-hardened aluminum, the cylinder features a silicon carbide-coated barrel in a galvanic nickel matrix and a cross-hatch honing with two diamond passes. This high-precision CNC machining process guarantees extremely tight tolerances and superior quality.
The cylinder-piston couplings are selected with a precision of 0.05 mm, ensuring smooth and reliable operation. Additionally, the heat exchange surfaces have been recalculated and increased to ensure optimal efficiency.
The piston, super compact and composed of three segments, is made with a special primary alloy of low thermal expansion silicon aluminum. The sliding walls are coated with tin to ensure extended durability.
The piston rings are special, with high sliding and high mechanical resistance. The first compression ring is made of nitrided and chromed steel, while the second ring is made of special cast iron. The oil scraper consists of three pieces of special alloyed and chromed steel.
